I've long been interested in joining a Bloodbowl league because frankly it's an awesome game that I wish I got to play more. I've recently painted up my dwarf team and it'd be a shame for them to sit idly by on a shelf. The problem is that leagues are either in Nottingham or some other tricky-to-reach-for-an-evening place. The other issue is that they normally require a commitment to attend on a particular day each week which I simply can't do.

Therefore I'd like to propose a Sheffield Bloodbowl ladder. This will hopefully work in a similar way to squash/badminton ladders rather than league play where everyone plays each other. So at first everyone is drawn a spot on the ladder at random. Players then choose someone upto two places above them on the ladder to challenge to a game. The results of the game are then fed back to the ladder organiser (either me or whoever) who changes the standings accordingly. Players will level up/die the same as they would in league play. After an agreed length of time, when hopefully everyone has had a decent number of games, the "season" ends and the winner is awarded the trophy (or whatever).

The ladder is then inverted and started again. This means the top players will have to prove themselves by working their way up. New players can join at any time at the bottom of the ladder.

The advantage of this is that you don't need to commit to a particular day each week to play your games and only the two guys playing a game need meet up. Bigger days could be arranged like a finals day where everyone comes along but it wouldn't be necessary. The other good thing is that you can play games wherever. Outpost, pub, someone's house, etc.

Anyway, I'll have to figure out the fine details like rules etc nearer the time but wanted to gauge how many people would be interested in principle before I put much work into it.

I am always up for more bloodbowl play and a ladder format sounds refreshing.

I was also in the TYBBL and loved it

I would ask that whatever format is chosen that the commissioner allows the special play cards for purchase as inducements, they add some nice variance to the the normal wizard bloodweiser babe combo that is seen in most inducement purchases.

Hi Friends, I want to ask you that are there any online games available. I am fond of playing video effects games. I already have video games, play station but still feel that I should now hang up with some more new games. If you people know about some internet games then please tell me. Thanks in advance.
