Hey guys! Ive been playing fantasy for a while now, and i think ive built a pretty solid list, but High Elves keep screwing me over!
Im going to post my list in a bit, but can anyone give me some tips/tricks that i can use against HE, or any army for that matter, without fundamentally having to buy more stuff?

Heres basic list, will post more precise one in abit (cant remember off top of my head!)

Tomb king on chariot GW Armour destiny,
Liche High priest L4 scrolls

Liche priest l2 steed
Herald chariot Bnner eternal legion? i think

8 horsemen HW+S command,
7 chariots FC
3 Chariots FC

10 TOmb guard
Khemrian sphinx

Necrosphinx,
Casket of souls
Hierotitan

let me know some tactics and such, i know stalkers are awesome, but i dont have any ! so dont start suggesting them xD

It's actually a fairly weak list, but then i guess all TK lists are weak.

The strongest list is obviously the light council list.

I myself use a TK gunline but it will struggle vs certain armies, but not vs High Elves.

High Elves have nothing at all that can really deal with Sphinxes, i lost a game vs them though a month or so ago, mostly due to some terrible play on my part.

You don't see many TK chariots around these days.

My problem is that the high elf player I play most bought 4 bolt throwers to deal with my sphinx, but that was before I bought another :P

Bolt throwers are not great vs sphinx, although i guess if he is shooting 4 with multiple shot that could hurt quite a bit.

Remember bolt throwers only have 2 wounds though and you dont suffer minus to hit so a unit of 20 bows can pop a bolt thrower, especially with a hint of smiting.

What is your unit of 10 Tomb Guard for?

The tomb guard are there to look after the hierophant, but I might change them for stalkers as I think I've just acquired some for free haha :-) just not sure what to do with the hirophant

If it's a bunker you want you would be better off just having cheap hand weapon skellies sat behind your army.
A bunker is more about wound count.

I've not tried stalkers yet, they don't look great on paper to me but I can imagine them having those amazing games where they destroy the world.

I wish Tomb Guard were cheaper, i would love a nice horde of them with a king in, i own 40 tomb guard models and i have never used them in a game yet....

Such a shutty book to be honest.

Yeah that's a really weak list. It doesn't really have an identity or a way of dealing with common threats in a competetive meta.

The Liche High Priest. Ok you've got a L4 Nehekhard - you now need to make sure your list is buildt around the spells he can get - most notably, the 5++ ward and the double shooting/extra attacks

So, The Tomb King - is an expensive fella to have sat on a cannon magnet. I get that you like a chariot legion - i would love to go chariot heavy but the problem is the LoS rules. If he (or the herald) gets shot by a cannon - HE can get a LoS but his chariot cant...which usually results in a Tomb King footslogging with the chariot unit and capping their movement at 4"!

The Herald - totally unneccesay for the sake of one less crumble - if you're crumbling you've gone wrong anyway!

8 Chariots - i like - pack a tasty impact but use em in 2x4 i reckon and appreciate them as flankers that hit hard amnd thats it!

Skelly Horsemen - 8 of these is 8 too much - they're woeful. convert some bows on them and they serve a small purpose - our (lack of) ability to march hinders their usefulness but you can still manouvre them to your advantage

Sphinx - Sound

Tomb guard - pointless at 10. Put the Tomb King in there - find the points to make them at least 20 (preferebly 40!) - but be aware that unless you're HE mate is running Silver Helm or Dragon Princes, these wont go toe-to-two with swordmasters very well! (but will muller cav!)

Id drop the Herotitan and try and get a couple of Skullapults in for some long range High Strength shooting
