Day 1 – Pools

On the first day of the event, the 32 players are split into 8 groups, containing 4 players each. Each

group of players will then play against every other player within their group (Round Robin) over the

course of the 3 rounds on day 1.

Players will then be ranked within their Groups by number of wins, followed by CP’s as first

tiebreak, followed by AP’s as second tiebreak.

SoS will not come into effect on day 1. The Pools and round 1 matchups will be announced before

the event to ensure a smooth start to the day.

Day 2 – Groups

On the second day, the event moves into the group stages. Each player Ranked 1st in their pool,

will be entered into group 1. Each player ranked 2nd in their pool will enter group 2. Etc.

This will leave 4 Groups with 8 players each. Groups and Round 1 matchups will be announced at

the end of day 1, once again to ensure a smooth start to the day.

Each group will play a 3 round scramble event (Run simultaneously). Matchups will be decided as

per the tournament standard. Each group has its own separate prize pool, Detailed further in the

prize support section.

Scenarios & Terrain Clarification

The scenarios will be taken from the SR2015 pack. Available

at http://privateerpress.com/organized-pla ... ournaments. Please be sure to bring a copy of the

pack with you. The scenarios will be announced at the start of each round. Zones will be supplied,

but players are expected to provide their own flags and objectives.

All forms of terrain used at the event follow the standard terrain rules as detailed in Warmachine:

Prime & Hordes: Primal.

There will be quick clarification on the terrain being used at the start of the event.

Tournament organiser, Judges and Rules queries + Clarifications

Adam Bell will be the acting TO across both days. It is the TO’s responsibility to ensure the smooth

running of the event, this includes but is not limited to; Announcements, Player Prompts, Data

Entry, the distribution of scenario zones and all responsibilities detailed in the judges section.

There will be a number of Volunteer judges present during both days. These judges will be present

to answer rules queries, take accurate measurements for players where required and generally

oversee and assist players where necessary. Their exact responsibilities and etiquette is the same

as what is detailed in the official Privateer Press Judging Document.
